Today is Friday and that means I got another brew for you! Today I play Helm of the Host with Timestream Navigator in a Bant deck to try and take infinite turns. If you manage to get Helm of the Host onto Timestream Navigator, you'll be able to take an extra turn every turn and then win with whatever your heart desires! Let us go ahead and look at the decklist.

Again, the objective of the deck is simpl: equip Helm of the Host on Timestream Navigator and then start taking all the turns. You have ways to protect your Navigator with things like Dive Down and Shalai, Voice of Plenty. The deck also has many alternate win conditions in planeswalkers backed up via Oath of Teferi or just simply equipping one of your legendary creatures, like Lyra Dawnbringer with Helm of the Host is good enough. Honestly even a Karnstruct token made with Karn will get out of hand extremely quickly.
The biggest concern with the deck is that it can fall behind relatively quickly against Golgari. Against Mono-Red you obviously start the match on your back foot but Shalia and Lyra Dawnbringer can end the game alone. Your control matchup is actually pretty good overall because you can attack them on so many different axes. They must deal with walkers, creatures, and your potential combo. After sideboard you get your own counterspells, History of Benalia, and Search for Azcanta along with Treasure Map to help grind and keep up. If you're playing against a Niv-Mizzet control deck, you must take out Timestream Navigator, especially since Dive Down is so bad against Niv-Mizzet and control in general.
I do enjoy this deck, but the mana can be a bit rough at times since we are missing Hallowed Fountain and Breeding Pool. However, I want to showcase the deck because this deck, just like four-color Omniscience combo, are decks I will revisit come Ravnica Allegiance since they gain so much from just the shock lands.
Hope this brew can tide you over until Ravncia Allegiance comes out and we can make brand new decks!
Have a great weekend!
