Welcome back everyone! I have been toying around with a new Simic deck that takes turns. We use Discontinuity and Alrund's Epiphany to take a bunch of extra turns and win the game with Elder Gargaroth, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Faceless Haven, or Koma, Cosmos Serpent. It is a sweet deck!
Let us go ahead and look at the decklist!
Time Stamps:
00:01:04 - Match 1
00:11:58 - Match 2
00:33:51 - Match 3
00:51:02 - Match 4
01:10:24 - Match 5

It is a like a hybrid deck of control, ramp, and extra turns. It is not like a normal ramp deck where you will want to just ramp as fast as you can (in some matchups, especially aggressive, that is what you will want to do.) Against control decks, though, you will want to weave your ramp spells into your countermagic so that you can do both. For example, hold up Jwari Disruption on turn two and do not cast Wolfwillow Haven. Then on turn three cast Wolfwillow Haven and you can still hold up Jwari Disruption. Check out the video for some sweet gameplay!
That's it for today, thanks for reading!
