Hey, what's up everyone? We are making our opponents sad today by Invoking Despair! Invoke Despair asks you to have quadruple black to cast, and when you do, it is a mini Cruel Ultimatum of sorts. Is it good enough for Constructed? That's what we are going to find out!
Let's look at the deck!

The deck ended up being great when we drew lands. The deck has 24 lands and three Emeria's Call. It might want to go to 28 total, but I think that was just a fluke.
The Angel package was sweet, especially Firja's Retribution. Righteous Valkyrie not so much because we are not all-in on Angels or Clerics. I really like the control aspect of this deck and was overall impressed by Life of Toshiro Umezawa but doubt the Righteous Valkyrie is needed, especially if Naya Enchantments is on the rise (where your life total does not matter because they make a 69/69 haste creature with trample on turn four or five).
I'm glad Invoke Despair was good, now I want to see if I can make Invoke Calamity great in Standard!
That is it for today, thanks for reading/watching!
