Welcome back everyone! Today I'm playing a deck I don't usually play. I saw a list from the Standard Challenge on Magic Online and it looked super sweet. The deck does cast an eight-mana sorcery in Awaken the Blood Avatar, so that is a little more like the style of decks I wield. It was just refreshing to see a deck playing new cards like Callous Bloodmage, Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar, Hunt for Specimens, and some Lessons from the Sideboard.
Let us have a look at the deck!

The deck was fun to play, especially the match against the Sultai Ultimatum deck. That match should be able to show how the deck can win from almost any scenario if you a couple of gears working. Overall, the deck felt powerful, but I would play Plumb the Forbiddens over Hunt for Specimens and I'd jam a couple Immersturm Predator over Rankle, Master of Pranks and probably a Blood Avatar. Last thing I'd change is adding a Mascot Exhibition in the Sideboard, you won't get it too often but the games you do, it's a huge spell to have access too.
That's it for today, thanks for reading/watching!
