Today, I have a special treat for all of you! I will be play a deck inspired by Gabriel Nassif. He has been playing the deck in Standard and I have adopted it and ported it into MTG Arena. This deck is a blast and competitive. We ran it through a Quick Constructed League in MTG Arena, where you play until you get 7 wins or 3 losses. This is the most competitive thing that we have in MTG Arena, so enjoy the game play and the matches.
Here is the deck I use for MTG Arena.

As you can see, the deck is competitive. We managed to get the full seven wins in MTG Arena's "competitive league." As promised, for those that wanted to play the deck in paper, here is the list my deck was inspired from.
U/B Conjecture -- Dominaria Standard | Gabriel Nassif
- Instants (18)
- 1 Supreme Will
- 3 Blink of an Eye
- 3 Cast Down
- 3 Fatal Push
- 4 Opt
- 4 Vraska's Contempt
- Sorceries (13)
- 1 Divest
- 1 Divination
- 1 Doomfall
- 1 Duress
- 1 Never // Return
- 1 Rags // Riches
- 1 Yahenni's Expertise
- 2 Mastermind's Acquisition
- 4 Secrets of the Golden City
- Enchantments (4)
- 4 The Mirari Conjecture
- Lands (25)
- 6 Island
- 6 Swamp
- 1 Submerged Boneyard
- 4 Drowned Catacomb
- 4 Fetid Pools
- 4 Field of Ruin
This is the list that I got my inspiration from. I do like the base of Nassif's deck but I would personally change a few things main deck. I would just play a second Duress over the Divest and cut the Rags // Riches for a Golden Demise. I then would swap Supreme Will with Commit // Memory. Having access to Commit // Memory in this type of deck is insane. If you don't want to play it main deck, then at least Sideboard one.
In the Sideboard, I'd want to play a Battle at the Bridge and a Lost Legacy, most likely cutting Reaver Ambush and Essence Extraction. This is what my Standard list would look like to start.

- 1 Yahenni's Expertise
- 2 Duress
- 2 Mastermind's Acquisition
- 4 Secrets of the Golden City

The deck is basically the same, but I've changed like 5-6 cards that I believe would make it better overall. Either way, deck is awesome and so very fun to play. You should really try it out, especially since it doesn't play anything super expensive from Dominaria like Karn, Lyra, History of Benalia, or Teferi. Deck is relatively cheap as far as Standard goes.
That's it for today! Please make sure to leave a comment below. Let me know if you like this style of article or if you like written articles more. If you see anything I can improve on, I'm open to constructive criticism as well.
As always, thanks for reading and watching!
