This will be my last Historic video until after Core Set 2021 comes out. Make sure to also tune into my Standard Set Review starting on Monday June 29th! Today we are exploring a Sultai Phyrexian Obliterator deck. It has a lot of value like most Sultai decks but also has a powerful surprise factor in Back for More and Phyrexian Obliterator. Let us check it out!

We do not have fight spells outside of Back for More, but we do not really need more. Against the creature decks a Phyrexian Obliterator is simply good enough on its own. It is a nightmare for aggro and even midrange strategies to get through. Every land in this deck produces Black mana so we can always cast a Phyrexian Obliterator on with four lands. Because of this, sometimes the deck can be a tad bit slower to get off the ground. Once it gets going though, it is extremely hard for a creature-based deck to win against you. Playing against Teferi, Time Raveler decks can be tough Game 1, but we have a lot more tools in games two and three against spell-based decks. If you enjoy grindy decks then I would recommend this deck, it's powerful and fun!
Until next time!
