Welcome back everyone! Today we revisit an old favorite of mine, Niv-Mizzet Reborn! I currently have almost a 70% win rate with this deck in Historic. It has been a blast to play and I love figuring out what cards we need to play as the metagame evolves, since Niv-Mizzet is so adaptable.

"Is Yorion really needed?" Needed? No, but the Sky Noodle does help a lot in this deck. Yorion allows us to have so much gas, even if we are casting Niv for the third or even fourth time. Yorion blinks Niv as well as Widespread Thieving, Golos, Walkers, and The Kami War. Widespread Thieving is a card that hasn't fully caught on yet for Niv decks, but it is very powerful once it gets going. There are some cards like Fatal Push and Inquisition of Kozilek that Niv-Mizzet Reborn cannot hit, and they are still very much worth a slot in the deck.
