Today's video is a Historic deck featuring Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Niv-Mizzet, Parun plus Curiosity means you win the game after you draw a card or any play casts an instant or sorcery spell. You just need to have your opponent at a lower life total than the number of cards in your library. This deck is basically Historic's "Splinter Twin" combo. Let's have a look, shall we?
Time Stamps:
01:02 - Match 1
10:16 - Match 2
16:55 - Match 3
25:36 - Match 4

You are trying to ramp into the combo and keep the battlefield clear with things like Storm's Wrath, Brazen Borrower, and Bonecrusher Giant. You have other angles of attack with the adventure creatures, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, and Hydroid Krasis.
I really do think this combo has legs in Historic, but I will need to try out different lists to see what works best. It could be a more controlling version that is just straight up , like Flash but with a combo finish in Niv-Mizzet, Parun. I'm excited to see where this deck goes as more time passes on, especially since Teferi, Time Raveler is now banned!
Until next time!
