WE NEED MORE WOOD FOR THE FIRES! I know, I know. This is the third deck with Fires of Invention that also works on a completely different axis than the previous fire decks. Fires of Invention is a sweet card and you can build it so many ways. Today, we try the combination of Golos and Fires of Invention. Two of my favorite cards in Standard. This list is one Jeremy Bertarioni took to a 2nd place finish at the SCG Team Open in Philly. The only thing I changed was adding a Castle Vantress main deck as I think it's free and very powerful with Fires of Invention.

Deck performed phenomenally well; you can see how it does in the YouTube video. After playing a handful of matches, there are some card in the Sideboard I'm not sold on like Shared Summons, Chandra, and Deafening Clarion. I'd cut one of those for a second Casualties of War as you wish for that card a lot in the current meta. I'd probably also cut the Chandra for Liliana, Dreadhorde General but honestly at the point we're trimming hairs.
The deck attacks with Golos, Field of the Dead, Hydroid Krasis, and Fires of Invention + Fae of Wishes. It's just so many different angles and it's very hard for the opponent to stop you because if they stop one thing, you're still doing three other things. If you enjoy Golos or Fires of Invention I highly recommend playing this deck at your FNM or any competitive event. It's fun and extremely competitive!
As always thanks for reading and I hope you have wonderful weekend!
