With Field of the Dead being banned, I wanted to try Abzan Wolves! The theoretical idea of Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves and a bunch of other walkers fighting and gaining life seemed pretty good. Especially if you were able to make some Garruk's wolf tokens fight as well. I was 7-0 in best of one with this deck so decided to try a Bo3 version. Here's the list:

After playing I don't think we can support two Henges and probably only want two Garruks. After my matches however, I felt like I was playing a worse Sultai deck by not including Blue for Oko, Krasis, and Nissa. Kind of a bad feeling as I don't want every Green midrange deck to devolve into Oko midrange but the card is that powerful, especially alongside Hydroid Krasis. The best thing about the Black cards was getting to play Noxious Grasp and Vraska, Golgari Queen since she was very good at killing Oko.
I think there is something here but Sultai is going to be better overall. I'll give my take of Sultai next week!
As always thanks for reading and I hope you have wonderful weekend!
