Hope everyone has had a nice Thanksgiving. Grab some leftovers and join me for Gonti, Lord of Luxury! We are playing a Sultai "good stuff" deck today in Historic best of three. It is a grindy deck with a lot of value and, if you're a Sultai fan, I definitely recommend giving this deck a whirl.

The biggest thing you might notice is Thoughtseize is not in the main deck, and that's because it is just too costly against the aggressive decks Game 1. You need it early to do anything and late game it is a terrible top deck and a death sentence. You also might think one Growth Sprial is odd but it is just the fifth Explore in the deck. I like Explore over Growth Spiral because it dodges Mystical Dispute and you can play the land whenever you want that turn, so if you draw more cards that turn, you can still play a land after your spell has resolved. The deck has flex slots, you can cut Censor, Hieroglyphic Illumination, Vraska's Contempt, and even Eliminate for whatever you are facing. It's very highly adaptable and customizable. Give it a go if you enjoy midrange strategies!
Until next time!
