Recently, Josh Newell won the SCG Classic in Dallas with a pretty fun Electrostatic Pummeler deck. If you are looking to switch things up, this is a very fun and a very cheap deck to build on MTGO. It plays like the Infect strategies in Modern and Legacy where you are pairing efficient creatures and pump spells to punk people out of the game. The deck is capable of turn four kills with Electrostatic Pummeler even through a blocker and/or a removal spell. If you aren't pushing for a "combo" kill, you can still just attack with creatures and use the pump spells as combat tricks.

This deck was very fun, so in that regard it did not disappoint. The one thing I thought was annoying was it had a whole lot of mana but very little card advantage. 20 lands, 4 Attune with Aether and 4 Servant of the Conduit, puts the deck at 28 mana sources, with only 2 Tireless Trackers to recoup the cards. To make matters worse the 2/2 body from Servant of the Conduit does very little. The mana acceleration gives some really busted draws, but over all I don't think they are good for the deck. Also to note, Rush of Adrenaline felt like a relatively weak card, even though it is on theme, I think it just does too little. If I played the deck again I would try to make the cards more impactful. In the following list I added Greenbelt Rampagers, which can be a great turn two play and you can use it as a pseudo energy engine. The 3/4 body trumps all 1, 2 and 3 mana creatures! I also added 3 Lathnu Hellions, which is just a great aggressive creature, gives energy, and goes great with pump spells that give trample. 2 Rishkar, Peema Renegade make an appearance because they are just such a good card, and it even pumps your team! Finally, to replace the Rush of Adrenalines, I increased the number of Invigorated Rampages. I believe this build still does what Josh Newell's deck does but with slightly better card quality and without as much air.
