R/W Vehicles was the first winning archetype to set the stage when Kaladesh was first released. While new archetypes have been rising to prominence and stealing the spotlight, R/W Vehicles is still great. Using the same card pool, it has adapted, evolved and become more refined over time. Recently Reid Duke won the Baltimore Classic with a version of R/W Vehicles that is perfectly adapted to the current meta. It has many of the things you would expect but in particular I love the 2 Always Watching and 3 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar as a way to run over Ishkanah, Grafwidow and Liliana, the Last Hope. The lack of Declaration in Stone is also something that I am really fond of and Stasis Snare picks up the slack as the best answer to Emrakul, the Promised End and at instant speed, it is better against Spell Queller. I have said it before, but I am going to say it again . . . Vroom, Vroom, Vroom! Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines because this deck is sweet!

Oh yeah, this deck is gas. This deck has great cards, has a relatively low curve and even has card advantage. These three things mean you always get to play Magic. Whatever you are missing, you will be able to scry or loot your way into and the Planeswalkers pack a real punch. I couldn't believe we won that super long game against U/R Control! This deck never runs out of steam and can always find ways to get more damage. It is extremely well rounded and while the normal paradigm is that well rounded strategies are weak, this strategy has a lot of raw power. Previously, I was a little on the fence, but I am 100% playing this deck at my next event. If you like to beat down, but also handle a long game, then strap yourself in for a ride because this is your deck.
Until next week, GLHF friends. May you smite thy enemies with a Golden Axe!
