Sixteen grueling rounds of Magic 2015 Draft and Standard; hundreds of players battling for pro points, prizes, and the chance to shuffle up again on the Sunday stage. After two long days of Magic, a top eight has been determined, and it's going to be absurd. These are the eight players who will be coming back tomorrow at 12 PM EST:
- 1. Patrick Cox
- 2. Yuuki Ichikawa
- 3. William Jensen
- 4. Ivan Floch
- 5. Matt Sperling
- 6. Pierre Mondon
- 7. Jackson Cunningham
- 8. Owen Turtenwald
There are a number of incredibly exciting stories from this weekend. William Jensen makes his first Pro Tour Top 8 since being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Pat Cox and Owen Turtenwald both put up their second career Top 8. Jeremy Dezani put up another Top 16 finish to lock up his status as the Player of the Year. Yuuki Ichikawa earned back to back Top 8 appearances by defeating none other than Jon Finkel in the final round. This promises to be an exciting Sunday with plenty of variety in the top eight. The villain in Black-based devotion is represented. Sphinx's Revelation control decks, Young Pyromancer burn decks, Dryad Militant aggro are also represented. We've got an incredibly diverse Top 8, but only one player can come out on top.
Congratulations to the Top 8 competitors of Pro Tour Magic 2015.
