In the wake of the Pro Tour, Nexus of Fate is what everyone is looking to as the win condition for do-nothing control decks. However, Teferi, Hero of Dominaria is still the most compact way to win the game, since you don't need any win conditions in your deck besides Teferi. If you can lock down enough opposing ways to interact with Teferi, then winning is almost an afterthought.

There's a lot to like about this deck. Primarily, the amount of virtual card advantage it's playing. Cards like Ixalan's Binding, Sorcerous Spyglass, and Gideon's Intervention are great ways to turn off opposing strategies. If you can resolve these naming key cards in any given matchup, it's a great way to ensure that your opponent can't really do anything. For example, Gideon's Intervention naming Nexus of Fate or Teferi can demolish opposing control decks, particularly if you can get one of their Cast Outs under an Ixalan's Binding. Similarly, against aggro decks, you can hit key cards like Scrapheap Scrounger and Chandra, Torch of Defiance.
In addition to these cards that can shut down entire strategies, you still have access to Teferi as well as Secrets of the Golden City to help you stay ahead on cards in the mid game. A handful of cheap interactive spells like Disallow and Baffling End round out your ability to stay alive in the early game.
The win condition, as is typical, is to loop Teferi's through your deck while your opponent draws their deck. This is typically a risky plan, but the addition of Gideon's Intervention and company makes it so that you can dismantle all of your opponent's most threatening cards and save your answers for whatever is left.
