Bask in Glory

Bring to Light is one of the most powerful cards that’s seen very little play in Standard. Part of the reason is that it’s hard to get the mana to work out now that we’re out of the Fetchland-Battleland manabases of Khans of Tarkir-Battle for Zendikar Standard. But, realistically, Attune with Aether and Traverse the Ulvenwald do a pretty fair job of providing fixing, as long as you can find turns you can afford to play off-curve. The question is whether you can find a powerful spread of singletons across all five colors that makes it worthwhile to do so. Joel Larsson may have done just that:

On the surface this is effectively a Delirium deck. Sure you’re not solidly Green-Black, but you still have the key players like Vessel of Nascency, Traverse the Ulvenwald, and Pilgrim's Eye. You have instant-speed removal in Harnessed Lightning and the same end game in Emrakul, the Promised End. The difference is in the midgame.

This deck’s midgame revolves around Bring to Light finding the best available card. Your colors are powered by the energy manabase of Aether Hub, Attune with Aether, and Servant of the Conduit. Your targets will frequently be Fumigate, Goblin Dark-Dwellers, or Ishkanah. Sometimes Tireless Tracker will be the target if the board is empty and you need to start grinding out card advantage, but frequently you’ll be looking for something that’s higher impact. Another advantage of going the full five colors is that you have access to Nahiri, the Harbinger to fight over Aetherworks Marvel, which is huge in the current format.

The extra colors really begin to pay off in sideboarded games, where Bring to Light gives you more consistent access to powerful haymakers like Pick the Brain, Linvala, the Preserver, and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. Regardless of which sideboard cards you choose to play, having effectively four extra copies of each of them is absolutely huge.

If you’re looking for a midrange deck with an Emrakul, the Promised End lategame and lots of flexibility, this seems like a very reasonable choice as long as you can get your mana to work.
