Green-Black Delirum is one of the defining decks in Standard, and people have spent weeks trying to find ways to break open the mirror. People have tried shifting towards Sylvan Advocate to get more aggressive, or go bigger with Noxious Gearhulk and such. What we haven’t seen much of in this format is splashing to find a way to trump the mirror. Amnesa thinks that adding Blue to the mix might be exactly what’s needed:

It turns out that, in a matchup that’s as attrition-oriented and prone to board stalls as the delirium mirror, adding a handful of raw card advantage spells and counter-magic is a pretty big advantage. You have to trim copies of some of your power cards like Ishkanah, Grafwidow but you gain access to Torrential Gearhulk, Glimmer of Genius, and Spell Shrivel. These give you an edge in problematic matchups like Aetherworks Marvel and a way to go bigger in the mirror; two key matchups in the current Standard format.
The strength of this choice is in your ability to use Traverse the Ulvenwald to help ensure that you can still play a more traditional Green-Black Delirium gameplan, finding key singletons like Ishkanah, Grafwidow or Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet at the appropriate times without having to play multiple copies. Liliana, the Last Hope even gives you opportunities to buy back those cards if you need to.
Sure, the Blue splash means you’re giving up some percentage points in your best matchups, but it also means you’re gaining points in your tough ones and in the mirror. Depending on what you’re expecting to see at your local events, that’s a trade I’m think I’d be willing to make.
