Phillips is a long time columnist for StarCityGames.com and a well known personality at Magic tournaments.

Phillips' career features a number of Top 8s including Pro Tour Kyoto (2009) and Grand Prix Columbus (2003-04). As of Nov. 29, 2010 he has 56 Pro Points and has played 357 matches on the Tour. No mention in his post is made concerning his writing for StarCityGames; we do not know if he will continue writing or not.
