All right folks, Adam has handed over the reins and the Community Cube project is about to switch from the theoretical to the... awesome. It becomes my enviable task to manage and collect all the necessary cards to construct the first Community Cube!

Here's how it's going to work. I've taken Adam's list of cards in the Community Cube and created a new Google Doc, which will be used to track the card statuses.

Cards on the Google Doc will have three statuses:

• NEED – This is a card I am actively looking for.
• PROMISED – This is a card that someone has said that he or she will send me.
• RECEIVED – This is a card I have... wait for it... received.

A quick description of cards we DON'T want:

1. Not foil or altered. We're sending this cube out into the community and while we know the vast majority of people it ever comes in contact with will be on the up and up, we want to minimize the temptation for players to take a cool card of their own from the community cube.
2. Not foreign. We do not want foreign versions of cards! This cube is meant to be accessible to everyone including new players and we do not want any confusion over what a card does.
3. Not beat. We want it to be near mint cards to get the cube started. So please don't send us your proxied or beat version of any of the cards we're looking for.

How to Contribute Cards

1. Email Send an email to commcube@gatheringmagic.com. Include in your email a list of which cards you're able to provide.
2. We will email you back to confirm "Yes, we need cards X, Y, Z, please mail them." with mailing info etc.
3. Package the cards as if you were doing an online trade, please make sure they're protected for shipping. We guarantee the USPS cares infinitely less about our little project than we do.

We're following a "Please wait to send until confirmed" so as to avoid getting 100 versions of a card and never getting a copy of another card. Please feel free to leave questions in the comments below and I will be around to answer them regularly!
