Several different images have been posted of the card on Reddit so we are extremely confident the card is legitimate, as Rootborn Defenses was.

This Simic Merfolk features the evolve mechanic, which you may recognize as a mechanic from the Great Designer Search. Simic appears to still be centered around +1/+1 counter manipulation, but this time the counters are not a finite resource.

Much like Rootborn Defenses, we have a card from an upcoming set appearing in the booster of the previous. Do we have a 'golden ticket' spoiler system being orchestrated by Wizards?
