Kiora may have the most awesome ultimate of any planeswalker ever :D #mtg

Let the art lovers, critics and dissectors come forth and shout from the roof tops (or maybe just tweet) their thoughts far and wide…
Wizards is giving MtG players a nice gift today. Spoiler for Kiora, the first UG planeswalker. And she's looking fine!

Not sure what's worse about Kiora: her abilities, or her art. I am thinking that it's probably the art. #MTG #TnA #MisogynisticPlaneofTheros

Here's to hoping that I have a chance at the Kiora original art. Scott did a great job with the piece. His inbox will be full this Christmas
— Original Magic Art (@OriginalMtGArt) December 25, 2013
Holy shit will that Scott M. Fischer painting be stupidly expensive. #kiora
— Mike Linnemann (@VorthosMike) December 25, 2013
Awesome to see some Scott Fischer art on this new Planeswalker as well. Hope he does the token artwork for Kiora as well
— Tristan Gregson (@TristanGregson) December 25, 2013
The Vorthos discussion is fine but what do we think about her playability? What value will she have as a planeswalker, on the board where it counts? Will the brewers and spell slingers want her?
I don’t think Kiora is Legacy playable but I’m almost positive she’s perfect for Modern. pic.twitter.com/tJ60Ieugtt
— Dave Rehm (@DragonGenes) December 25, 2013
@Silmerion I can see her playing in control, but 2 loyalty really hurts her in modern.
— John Cleaver (@MrKihashi) December 25, 2013
@markdash12 it is actually impossible that a planeswalker with both a good defensive and a draw a card ability sees no play.
— Kai Budde (@kaibudde) December 25, 2013
@misterorange Kiora is bad, really bad, her +1 can protect herself, making her nearly invincible if not shot down asap.
— Eam Samaraka (@EamSamaraka) December 25, 2013
Kiora the Crashing Wave is sort of nice to see. Didn't expect to see 'Heart of Light' on opponent-only targeting at least.
— Kratok (@Kratokian) December 25, 2013
@cavemankellen dude. This card is going to be VERY hard to deal with. She blanks your creature while stalling game to ramp. #30TixMaybe
— Matthew Beverly (@MattyStudios) December 25, 2013
I'm not sure Kiora is good in the current format she has a home in certain types of decks so she'll be playable at some point.
— Michael Hetrick (@theshipitholla) December 25, 2013
The debate is sure to continue long into spoiler season and rotation. As for these next tweets? Well…I just couldn’t resist.
Kill me now before all the 'two Explores' Kiora jokes happen.
— Eric Klug (@klug_alters) December 25, 2013
Lol at new planeswalker Kiora. #2explores
— Cameron Cox (@SolomeOU) December 25, 2013
I'm not sure which I prefer about Kiora - the "Two Explores" jokes or being able to shout "RELEASE THE KRAKEN!" when it ultimates. #MTGBTG
— Joe Spanier (@FoundOmega) December 25, 2013
Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw Kiora and thought "Kiora Lee Simmons." #raisedbydragqueens #sorryboutit
