Howdy folks, you may know me from ManaNation.com, my name is Trick. I've been a very big fan of GatheringMagic for a while now and am very excited to be helping out with it! I'm going to be stepping up in the role of Managing Editor, helping Reinhart and Leaf with the site.

Why?

Because we want more voices here.

GatheringMagic is unique. It's the most successful Magic blog in the world! It's a source of spoilers and news for the upcoming sets. And it's an ongoing commentary about Magic with a very unique voice.

If you're interested in contributing, we're interested in having your writing!

What to Write

Write about what interests you in Magic. Whether it is about some recent announcement or about the community as a whole. What interests you interests us. (Usually.) What we don't want are run of the mill tournament reports, or competitive cut-throat deck tech. Maybe you want to introduce Momir Basic to the readers. Maybe you're making your own Magic set and want to share some of the stories from building it and testing with friends? Or even, what do you hope to see in Magic's future? We don't know, but you do!

How to Write

Write it in Word, Google Docs, or some similar application. Don't worry about images (unless they are integral to what you're writing, then email me) because I'll take care of them. If you're interested in writing regularly email me and we can definitely discuss it, or if you're interested in just writing from time-to-time that is totally fine as well.

Give it a good round of editing, typos suck.

Once you have your file, email me: trick@gatheringmagic.com and attach your file. I'll get back to you within a few days about it. If we run it, then we'll pay you for it with credit from CoolStuffInc.com
