With Modern in a state of constant flux, strategies tend to wax and wane like the tides.
The Eldrazi duo of Thought-Knot Seer and Reality Smasher used to be major players in Modern, but have mostly been relegated to Legacy as of late. The rise of Humans was the biggest catalyst to Eldrazi's downfall, with Humans able to go wide and large while out sizing all but the largest Eldrazi. However, with Lightning Bolt back in full vogue and Humans wavering because of it, it may be time to twist reality once again.
Furthermore, have you ever seen an Izzet Phoenix or Death's Shadow player writhe under Chalice of the Void on one before?

Serum Powder Eldrazi is a deck that has been floating around for a while and I've been impressed whenever I've given it a spin.
The raw power of Eldrazi in Modern completely stems from how good Eldrazi Temple is, and in using Serum Powder to help make sure we find one every game we gain a very interesting and quite brilliant synergy. Every copy of Eternal Scourge we exile to a Serum Powder (or Gemstone Caverns) ends up essentially in our hand, helping to mitigate the drawback of mulliganing a lot and allowing us to dig aggressively for Eldrazi Temple.
This also means that if you end up keeping a seven card hand after using Serum Powder, it's possible that you could have actually mulliganed up to eight or nine cards, depending on how many Eternal Scourges you are able to exile. Eternal Scourge itself is a very reasonable card that excels against fair decks hoping to contain you with removal.
You must mulligan aggressively with this deck, and Serum Powder makes that a breeze.
The other big card we are looking for is Chalice of the Void, as it single handedly can lock out entire archetypes by itself. With quality mulligans and the acceleration provided by Simian Spirit Guide and Gemstone Caverns we can lay a Chalice of the Void early and finish them off quickly with our proven duo of Thought-Knot Seer and Reality Smasher.
Serum Powder Eldrazi is a fun, exciting, and clever deck with a lot of power and great tools. Give it a spin, and don't be afraid to mulligan aggressively!
