This deck is an absolute killer of any non-Blue midrange deck.
Midrange decks tend to end up trying to one up each other with the biggest possible endgame, and there isn't really a bigger endgame in the format than Atraxa, Grand Unifier (except for perhaps maybe Breach the Multiverse, but we've also got counterspells post-board). You trade off some resources, ramp it up, and start casting haymakers.
The deck also has a number of excellent tools against aggressive decks, being able to play top notch removal spells like Ossification and Leyline Binding, as well as the best sweeper in the format in Sunfall. And on top of that you've got Archangel of Wrath and Atraxa providing lifegain on top of everything else.
The only really scary thing for the deck is counterspells, which make tapping seven mana for Atraxa look silly, but between Tyrranax Rex and careful play this is something you can overcome as well.
This deck is one of the biggest and baddest in the format right now, combining a ton of fun cards into a very competitive list!
