Ten New Brews wasn't enough!

I've got one more for you from the early access Streamer Event for Wilds of Eldraine played late last week, as we prepare for the full release on MTG Arena tomorrow.

Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival has already proven herself in multiple formats to be quite the force alongside effects like Reckless Impulse and Wrenn's Resolve, providing an army of flying tokens in an already aggressive shell. However, with Wilds of Eldraine she has some new tools to play with!

Adventure cards!

We all know from Bonecrusher Giant and Lovestruck Beast how potent adventure cards can be, getting two spells on one piece of cardboard is just a built in two for one. However, what's great here is that when you can an adventure the creature part goes to exile, so when you cast that Cheeky House-Mouse from its adventure you get to trigger Pia! House-Mouse is a nice little 1-drop with upside, while Heartflame Duelist certainly isn't Bonecrusher Giant but has upside.

However, the really exciting one that I totally missed from my set review was Hearth Elemental, which play exceptionally well in the deck. Between all your spells and adventure cards it gets down to a one or two mana 4/5 very fast, and being able to draw two cards off it empty handed is also excellent.

We had a bit of a roller coaster in the games here, but there's definitely something exciting in this shell!
