As yes, the dead week.
The week between the release of the full card list of a new set and the actual release of the set is an odd one for Magic: The Gathering content, and Magic players in general. We've past the point of speculation about what could be in the set, as we've done our set reviews and made our guess about what's good... but can't quite play with the cards yet to find out.
Of course, I've got the Early Access stream this Thursday and Friday for Ten New Brews, and then the set fully releases next Tuesday, but until then we're left wanting. So, what's one to do?

LOLmentals is a deck that I built on my show Freshly Brewed almost two years ago as a meme, but has ended up being one of my favorite decks in Pioneer/Explorer. It has the ability for very aggressive draws with the landfall creatures like Akoum Hellhound and Brushfire Elemental, but also gets to play a powerful longer game with Risen Reef, Omnath, Locus of Creation, and even Chandra, Awakened Inferno.
And it's all ready for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan!
The deck is already playing 8 Unclaimed Territory effects, making Cavern of Souls a no brainer huge upgrade for the deck.
