Your friend Jerry has just arrived at your house for a night of Magic. You’re eager to test out your new Standard concoction against Jerry’s bevy of decks. Before you do, though, he demands a toll: You must beat his Stasis lockdown deck before you can start playing against his more fair (and format-appropriate) decks.

Challenge

Jerry has you in the grips of his lock. He has a Stasis and a Kismet, ensuring that you’ll never get anything untapped. He’s powering the Stasis with two Awakening Zones and a Gemstone Array. Finally, he has a Platinum Angel out, just to make sure you can’t beat him. From this position, you must win the game.

Assumptions

Nothing you have on the battlefield is relevant. You and Jerry are both at 20 life. Jerry played first, so he has forty-one cards in his library to your forty. It’s currently your turn.

You have perfect luck. For example, even after you shuffle your library, it’s ordered how you want. You may not assume anything about your opponent’s hand or library except that he won’t do anything relevant.
