With Avacyn Restored out and Innistrad block complete, it’s time for one final Essence of the Wild puzzle. In the first such puzzle, I challenged you all to create as many Essence copies as possible using only cards in Innistrad. In the second puzzle, I added Dark Ascension. Now let’s see what Avacyn Restored can do.
Challenge
Create as many copies of Essence of the Wild as you can by the end of turn five on the play. You may only use cards from Innistrad, Dark Ascension, and Avacyn Restored other than Gravecrawler and Archangel's Light. Your deck must be exactly sixty cards.
With only Innistrad, the solution was 11,696 Essences. Dark Ascension’s solution created infinite Essences, but the key cards from that are no longer allowed.
