After three days of competition with national pride on the line, the Danish team featuring captain Martin Mueller, Thomas Enevoldsen, Simon Nielsen, and Lars W. Birch took down Team Greece in the finals of the Magic World Cup!

Coming down to game three of match three with Simon Nielsen's Abzan Whip against Panagiotis Savvidis' Sidisi Whip, Simon was held under pressure by Savvidis' Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, keeping the Greek's hope alive despite some serious mana woes. After Ashiok stripped Nielsen of hand and graveyard the Dane managed to draw a Siege Rhino followed by Duneblast to cement the board firmly in Simon's favor. A Wingmate Roc off the top netted a handshake, and a trophy, for the team from Denmark.
