How cool is this card?!?!?!?
I know! You get four libraries, so you can always ensure that you are drawing the best and coolest card! That’s so awesome!
You also are more protected from someone milling your own deck. Don’t you hate it when someone targets you with a milling card like Glimpse the Unthinkable or uses a Millstone and they milled that really fun card to your graveyard that you really wanted to draw and play? Well here, you have some ability to stop it! Choose which library they mill! If you are about to draw some fun card from Library Beta, then send them over to mill Library Gamma where you just have a basic land on top. Keep the good stuff good!
Split Screen also protects from top-of-the-library tucks that can set you back. If someone casts a spell or effect that puts a card on top of your library, then you are forced to waste a turn drawing it again, even if you didn’t want it. It’s irritating to be hit with a Time Ebb, Memory Lapse, or similar effect when you didn’t want it. Well now you can just leave it on top of Library Alpha and draw from somewhere else and move on!
Want to gain life while beating? How about Augury Adept?
One of my favorite cards here is Garruk's Horde. It’s one of my favorite cards of all time, and it definitely rubs the Timmy Genie Bottle, you know? It’s already a 7/7 trampler with a huge board presence. And, you can cast the top card of your deck if it’s a critter, so you can keep up the pressure! It’s a powerful card on its own. With Split Screen out? The creature storm has started, and it’s never ending!
Garruk's Horde ain’t the only card that will accelerate your creature making abilities though. How about Call of the Wild?
Oh my stars and garters! That’s a powerful package of Creature Smashing Love! You should reliably have at least one creature on top of one of your four libraries at any given point in time, right? So isn’t Call of the Wild the awesome sauce of life? Invest some mana, and then plop that dude right onto the battlefield! In a similar way, Descendants' Path works well!
Oh, and you can draw some creature cards with Domri Rade as well while sticking up Domri for more power. Check out Garruk, Caller of Beasts and Sorin, Grim Nemesis as well!
It’s more powerful, and more useful, than Future Sight! You get more options to find the good cards that you know and love so much.
Are you playing with silver-bordered cards anyways! Awesome!
This card is a lot of FUN!
