User 'iamfishman' has announced the TMD Open 15, what is expected to be the largest Vintage tournament in North America. The "TMD" in its name is after the most popular vintage forum on the web, TheManaDrain.com. It should be noted that this tournament will not be sanctioned by the DCI, its use of proxies as well as allowing people to purchase byes disallow it.

The tournament will allow up to fifteen proxies in decks, thus alleviating the majority of the cost for players who don't already own the power nine or other vintage staples that are outside of their price range.
