In perhaps the least surprising set announcement of 2012, Wizards gives us official confirmation that we will have a new core set this year. Sure to generate a large amount of chatter is the subtitle for the set, "Gather Your Allies." Is Wizards taking the Zendikar Ally subtype and bringing it into the core set? Or is it just a clever turn of phrase? Only time will tell. Read Wizards' official announcement.
