Coming out of World 2011 on an unbelievable tear, Conley Woods finally carries a Grand Prix trophy! Through out the almost two dozen matches, Conley's innovative black-green Rock-style deck tore apart a field dominated by blue and white Human/token/Snapcaster Mage/Invisible Stalker type decks.
After clinching a Top 8 berth, he battled through luminaries Patrick Chapin (in the Finals), Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa (in the Semis), and similarly hot first-time Grand Prix Top 8 finisher Ben Friedman (in the Quarters).
