894 players showed up to battle in Grand Prix Singapore. After two days of swiss, the competition cut to a Top 8 with a plethora of accomplishments at the Grand Prix level. However, it was Ken Yukuhiro and his aggressive Rakdos deck who emerged victorious, beating Pack Rat in games 2 and 3 of the finals.
Yukuhiro's deck had a solid foundation, featuring three copies each of both Pursuit of Flight and Traitorous Instinct to force through the last few points of damage and triplet Spawn of Rix Maadi to take to the skies. The deck was rounded out with an aggressive curve of creatures and a smattering of removal spells, and it was good enough to take Yukuhiro to first.
