Grand Prix Prague kicked off Aether Revolt - Kaladesh Limited in a rather unorthodox manner. A fire at the venue on Friday displaced the main event. More than 2,000 players were not deterred and came back, full of energy, ready to battle on Saturday.

The Top 8 featured familiar faces including Pro Tour Magic 2015 winner Ivan Floch and Hall of Famer Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa in his astounding 19th Grand Prix Top 8. Flock, representing Team Face to Face Games in the Pro Tour Team Series, was eliminated in the Quarterfinals. Paulo, of Team Channelfireball Ice, made it to the finals with his Red-Black deck. There he ran into Yusuf Kemal Vefa of Turkey and his Green-White deck. In both games Vefa's Multiform Wonder dominated as the versatile threat simply was too much for the Hall of Famer.
