There's a new event on MTG Arena that is allowing us to play any cards in Historic, that's right, Historic has no bans for another week so I'm going to share my favorite deck that I made for the format that I really enjoy playing, Bolas's Citadel & Mind's Desire! This deck is playing a ton of discard to keep the Channel decks from going off, even if you're on the draw. The goal is to get Bolas's Citadel down and storm off and kill them with Tendrils of Agony or Aetherflux Reservoir. Brainstorm is great at setting up your Bolas's Citadels, allowing you to cast big spells. Give this deck a go, it's the most fun I've had playing and it's free! You can just put the cards together, not craft anything, and enter the event.
