Lack of North American Continentals information has players concerned
Given that the North American Continentals are less than two months away, players are justifiably concerned with the lack of information, other than a location and date. Tickets for the last chance qualifier went on sale for the EU Continentals went on sale and sold out immediately. With that being said, it's kind of difficult to commit to travel and hotel accommodations without even knowing whether or not you can secure a ticket to the event. My hope is that next year will be a bit smoother for these prestigious events, as the DLCs themselves were announced and had ticket sales way in advance. If you're planning on attending the North American Continentals, I wish you luck on securing a ticket. For those of you competing in the main event, good luck as well!
Added Bonus in the Azurite Sea League Kit
Does anyone miss Bucky? I sure do, but in his original form for sure. However, those of you who are looking for an actual printed of the new errata version are in luck, because they're finally here!
This seems to be the first time Disney Lorcana is trying out buy-a-box promos, and this is a unique one to start it on. Bucky in his current state remains unplayable, so the incentive to pick it up doesn't seem high. I feel that players will be buying boxes regardless, so this is an added bonus. I hope Ravensburger explores this option in the future with other cards that got similar treatment, such as the Sapphire Prince John from the last set that came in the new Villainous board game.
Conclusion
That's it for the news this week. Who's excited to pick up some new cards today? I know I am! Do you prefer sealed product over singles? What enchanted cards are you chasing this set? Will you be at Continentals this year? Let me know on X!
