Check out the brand new Eventide cards! Wizards of the Coast was kind enough to send us some Papa John's pizzas to our Cool Stuff Games FNM event and enclosed with the pizza was a booster pack of Eventide with the instructions to open it up and display the cards online however we wish. Morningtide is out and it is hot! The second set of the Lorywn Cycle, named Morningtide, continues with Lorwyn's tribal-set themes, but this time with a "class" twist. Morningtide focuses on Warriors, Wizards, Soldiers, Shamans, Rogues, and more (notice that almost every Lorwyn creature has one of those classes on it). The Lorwyn block will be the first of a two-part mini block group. Each of the two blocks will feature one large set and a smaller expansion instead of the traditional large-small-small set breakdown we've come to expect. The new miniatures game, Monsterpocalypse, is on the horizon! Privateer Press, the makers of the popular Warmachine and Hordes miniatures game, is making their first foray into the collectible miniatures market with Monsterpocalypse. The game will be based in the genre of "kaiju", which is a Japanese term related to large monsters like Godzilla, King Kong, etc. Monsterpocalypse's first release is set to contain 80 figures ranging from monsters, destroyable city structures, and vehicles.
